Deforestation isn't just happening in well-known global hotspots like Indonesia and Brazil's rainforest. A new analysis says forests are also shrinking on state and private land in Oregon, where an estimated 522,000 acres of forest cover have disappeared since 2000. visitors every year. When people think about Florida, forests probably aren’t the first thing that comes to mind. Florida's forests range from broad and open land to densely
packed vegetation. As you head south, there are subtropical forests
and ecosystems, too. Reforestation in Florida is critical to preserving these vital ecosystems and restoring land that has been degraded by human use and natural
disasters. Florida's forests are just as important as its beaches, and planting trees will help us protect these lands for generations to come.

With abundant precipitation and fertile soil, Washington has some of the most productive forests in the world. While Washington is surrounded by mountainous landscapes, half of the land area is also
